GCN's Mark George QC was interviewed on the BBC2 Victoria Derbyshire programme this morning in relation to the IPCC Report on Orgreave which was released today

Mark George QC commented that he found it "extraordinary" that the police witness statements contained long identical sections of text. He welcomed the calls for a public inquiry by Yvette Cooper MP. "If there is to be any resolution that seems like an obvious way forward".

The full IPCC report "IPCC decisions on matters relating to the policing of events at Orgreave coking plant in 1984" is available here.
