GCN's Tom Royston will be speaking at a seminar taking place next week (8th June 2015) organised by CPAG on the "Localisation of Social Security".

Tom Royston will be considering the legalities that need to be considered when localising and ensuring that residents’ rights are protected through the process.  Tom has acted in a number of leading cases in this area and has a particular interest in public law challenges to local welfare support schemes. 

Other speakers include Rose Doran (Senior Adviser at Local Government Association), Rachel Badger (Head of Policy Research - Families, Welfare and Work at Citizens Advice) and delegates will include representatives from NGOs, Trade Unions, Local Authorities and statutory bodies
