Brenda Campbell: Brenda’s practice covers all areas of criminal law and inquests and she has a particular interest in the representation of women and children. Due to her determination to ensure the best possible defence representation, she is regularly instructed in high profile and complex criminal cases or to act on behalf of vulnerable defendants. From 2013 – 16, Brenda was part of a team of counsel who represented the families of 77 of those who died in the Hillsborough disaster. Brenda directly represented the families of 14 of those who were unlawfully killed.
Anna Morris: Anna’s practice focuses on criminal justice and civil liberties and encompasses criminal justice and appellate advice, inquests into deaths in custody, civil actions against the police and public law. Ranked in Chambers UK 2017 for both civil liberties and human rights and police law, it is said that Anna “is one of the few people who can combine huge intellectual prowess with very practical skills.”
