Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending upon experience
Garden Court North is a highly successful barristers Chambers that specialises in crime, inquests and inquiries, actions against the police, immigration, housing and public law.
The Garden Court North crime team is expanding and we seek a practice manager with substantial criminal clerking experience. The successful applicant will also undertake some civil clerking.
This role requires the applicant to ‘hit the ground running’ and therefore prior employment as a clerk within a barristers’ chambers is essential. Duties will involve dealing with diary bookings and the allocation of work to barrister members; liaising with courts and solicitors in respect of fixing cases; negotiating fees; and assisting with the billing of fees.
The successful applicant will join our experienced and highly skilled Practice Management Team, described by professional reviewers as “exceptional” and “approachable and helpful”.

Full time hours of work are 9am to 6pm Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5.30pm Friday.
