Salary: £30,000 per annum depending upon experience

We invite applications for the position of Practice Manager. This role requires the applicant to ‘hit the ground running’ and therefore previous clerking experience within a barristers’ chambers is essential. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with clerking experience who wants to take their clerking career to the next level.
The successful applicant will join our experienced and highly skilled Practice Management Team, which is described by professional reviewers as being “exceptional”, which prides itself on being “approachable and helpful”, and whose members are “some of the most ‘friendly and supportive’ administrative staff”.
Duties will involve answering and dealing with incoming telephone calls; dealing with diary bookings and the allocation of work to barrister members; liaising with courts and solicitors in respect of fixing cases; monitoring Chambers’ e-mail and dealing with the distribution of e-mail correspondence to barrister members; and assisting with the billing of civil fees.
