Criminal barristers national protest

1 February 2014

Garden Court North Chambers strongly supports the national action co-ordinated by the Criminal Bar Association that is taking place throughout England and Wales to protest at the government’s proposed cuts to legal aid.

Chambers’ criminal barristers will not be attending court on Monday morning in protest against the proposed further significant cuts to legal aid and publicly funded work, blighting beyond comprehension the proper and fair access to justice.

From 10am until 11am on Monday 6th January, members of Chambers will join other criminal Northern Circuit practitioners at a public rally outside Manchester Crown Court, Crown Square, Manchester, M3 3FL.
