Aarif Abraham to discuss human rights and the rule of law in Myanmar

Aarif Abraham, from our international law team, will be contributing to a panel discussion on serious concerns about human rights violations and the rule of law in Myanmar at an event organised by the Bar Human Rights Committee on Wednesday 7 June at 1pm.

The session will be chaired by BHRC Chair Stephen Cragg KC and alongside Aarif on the panel will be:

• Elaine Chan, Human Rights Officer, UN Human Rights – Asia
• Dr Felicity Gerry KC, Professor of Legal Practice
• Antonia Mulvey, Founder and Executive Director of Legal Action Worldwide (LAW)
• Hanh Nguyen, Senior Labour Rights Researcher at the Business and Human Rights Resource Centre.
