Mental Health Tribunal Training

Helen Curtis from our Court of Protection team will be delivering an update on recent case law and developments on mental capacity act and mental health law as part of an afternoon of Mental Health Tribunal Training from the Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust.

District Tribunal Judge Alex Durance will also be speaking about how to prepare written reports for the MHT. A guide for RC’s, nurses and social workers / care co-ordinators.

This course is eligible for 3 Internal CPD hours subject to peer group approval & MRCPsych guidance.

The session will be chaired by Dr Inti Qurashi – consultant forensic psychiatrist.

At the end of the session there will be an opportunity for questions.
