If not now, when? If not us, who? It’s time we took action

30 June 2015

Following recent developments elsewhere and the meeting of solicitors and members of the Bar in Manchester yesterday, criminal barristers at Garden Court North Chambers wish to express their support for the decisions made and announce that we will support solicitors who chose not to accept work at the new rates from 1 July 2015. Furthermore from 1 July 2015 barristers at Chambers will adopt a policy of “no returns”.

We call on all other chambers in Manchester to support our solicitor colleagues and adopt the decisions we have made.
