Six Palestine Action protesters charged with aggravated burglary over their actions at an arms factory in Filton, near Bristol, in 2024 have been acquitted by a jury earlier today (4 February 2026).

The six co-defendants were also charged with criminal damage and violent disorder, but the jury reached partial or no verdicts on those counts. Five of the defendants were released on bail.

The protesters are part of Palestine Action, which says that the factory in Filton manufactures and supplies weapons to the Israeli military. The factory is owned by a UK subsidiary of Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest arms manufacturer, which provides the majority of weapons used by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Garden Court North’s Mira Hammad successfully represented Leona Kamio during the trial. Leona was cleared alongside her co-defendants Charlotte Head, Samuel Corner, Fatema Rajwani, Zoe Rogers and Jordan Devlin.

The Prosecution have been given time to decide whether they wish to seek a re-trial in respect of those charges on which the jury could not reach verdicts.

Mira Hammad is part of Garden Court North’s protest rights team. She was instructed by Simon Natas and Peter Baker of Irvine Thanvi Natas Solicitors to represent Ms Kamio.

Rajiv Menon KC (Garden Court Chambers) and Kate O’Raghallaigh (Doughty Street Chambers) represented Charlotte Head. Garden Court Chambers’ Tom Wainwright, Catherine Oborne, and Audrey Cherryl Mogan represented Samuel Corner, Fatema Zainab Rajwani, and Zoe Rogers. Andrew Morris of ITN Solicitors represented Jordan Devlin.
