Stephen Johnson, 21, William Robinson, 22 and Thomas Price, 21, were acquitted of all charges following a five day hearing at Hull Crown Court. The three men were accused of sexual assault and rape of a fellow student at the college last September.

The student claimed that the men had pushed her into her room at the college and sexually abused her in a group sex attack. The allegations were denied by all three men, who stated they believed she had been fully consenting. The jury, having seen evidence including CCTV from the night delivered a unanimous not guilty verdict after two hours of deliberations.    William Robinson was represented by GCN's Brigid Baillie  instructed by Quality Solicitors Jordans.
