Antje Kunst joins Garden Court North Chambers

1 October 2024

We are delighted to welcome a specialist in the fields of EU and international law, including international human rights law, to our international team. Antje Kunst will join the team as a Door Tenant (Associate Member).

Antje’s practice is in EU courts and international tribunals where she represents individuals against EU bodies and international organisations.

Antje specialises in a niche area of international law: EU and international administrative (labour) law. Her work is entirely direct access.

She also has extensive expertise in international human rights and discrimination and provides advice on proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) and on UN individual complaints procedures under the UN human rights treaties (e.g., the UNCRPD and the UNCRC).

Antje has a developing practice in international climate change litigation, with a specific interest in International Procedural Law issues including extra-territorial jurisdiction.

Alongside her work, Antje acts as an Adviser to the NGO iProbono inter alia in the area of children’s rights. She worked for the United Nations prior to joining private practice where she developed her profound interest for international law.

On joining GCN, Antje said:

“I am absolutely delighted to join Garden Court North Chambers, as my new Chambers closely aligns with my commitment to practicing human rights in the international field.”

To instruct Antje, please contact the Practice Management Team here.
