Free Webinar: Homelessness decisions – Review, Appeal or Judicial Review?

Our free webinar, Homelessness decisions – Review, Appeal or Judicial Review? is available to view below. Please note that the content will expire three months from the date of the event.

Elizabeth Mottershaw of our Housing Team and Rosalind Burgin, Second-Six Pupil, outline the ways to challenge decisions about accommodating the homeless.

This one-hour webinar looks at options under the Housing Act 1996, including when local authorities review a decision late, fail to review their decision, or refuse to review their decision. The webinar also addresses Home Office decisions under the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 regarding asylum seekers, and at the practicalities of urgent Judicial Reviews.

Homelessness decisions – Review, Appeal or Judicial Review? is part of our collaborative webinar series with DG Legal.

We also provide bespoke in-house seminars to organisations who would like specific training and our members work with other external organisations to deliver a range of seminars and events throughout the year.
