This week ITV aired ‘Anne’, a four-part drama written by Kevin Sampson, author of Hillsborough Voices. It tells the remarkable and inspirational story of Anne Williams whose 15 year old son, Kevin, was killed in the 1989 Hillsborough disaster. Anne’s story is one of strength, courage and determination in a long fight for truth and justice.

Following the drama, ‘The Real Anne: Unfinished Business’ documentary aired on ITV on Thursday 6 January. The documentary tells the story of the family’s remarkable campaign for justice and features Pete Weatherby QC, who led the team representing Anne and 21 other families at the new Hillsborough Inquests.
