Hillsborough Lawyers Win Modern Law’s Outstanding Achievement Award for 2016

The Hillsborough inquest lawyers, who include Garden Court North Chambers’ Pete Weatherby QC, Mark George QC, Kate Stone and Andy Fitzpatrick, have been awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award for 2016 by Modern Law.

Modern Law’s Outstanding Achievement Award for 2016 went to all of the lawyers who represented families at the Hillsborough inquests, which ran from 2014 and concluded with a verdict of unlawful killing in April 2016.

Pete, Mark, Kate and Andy acted for 22 families at the Hillsborough inquest and were instructed by Broudie Jackson Canter, Butcher Barlow LLP and EAD Solicitors.
