Greater Manchester Mayor, Andy Burnham addresses a welfare rights meeting in Chambers

We were delighted to provide the venue for a fantastic welfare rights event last Friday hosted by Greater Manchester Welfare Rights Advisers Group (GMWRAG).

The event, organised by Dan Manville of Greater Manchester Law Centre, gave practitioners the opportunity to share information as well as taking a specific look at the Universal Credit Managed Migration and the Dangos project in Wales.

Speakers included Dan Manville, Gareth Morgan – CEO of Ferret Information Systems which models the effects of benefits systems, GCN’s Tom Royston who specialises in social welfare law, and the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham.
