Professor Javaid Rehman speaks at IOPHR event – How to Stop the Global Threat of the Iranian Regime

Earlier this month, Garden Court North associate member Professor Javaid Rehman – the UN Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran – was invited to speak at an event in parliament.

The event on 8 February, How to Stop the Global Threat of the Iranian Regime, was hosted by the International Organisation to Preserve Human Rights (IOPHR) and chaired by a Director of IOPHR, Beverley Eve.

Also speaker were:

  • Anna Firth MP – a Member of UK Parliament
  • Mattie Heaven – a Director of IOPHR and the Regional Deputy Chairman for the Conservative Party
  • Afshin Sajedi – IOPHR Representative at the European Parliament, and the chair of the event and the Director of IOPHR, Beverley Eve.
